RACE RENTAL

Maintenance shall be done with profit. Target: 30% margin on weekend costs (one slider, all cars).

4 years: car value vs cumulative seat profit

Dashed = remaining car value (straight-line to residual). Solid = cumulative seat profit. At year 4, profit + residual − all-in is 4y cash after sale. Cross = where that car’s profit line meets its remaining value.

Prices and running costs

One card per car. Seat / stint prices are one paying driver, one stint. Residual is a sale after 4 years; payback uses net capital = all-in − residual.

Suggested seat (30% profit)

Owner cost per seat from on-page weekend costs (entry, tyres, fuel, brakes, crew, insurance). Suggested seat = cost ÷ 0,70 so 30% of the price is profit. Same as €/km × laps × 24,358 km. Does not change your current seat inputs. Green = current seat is at or above suggested.

Seat price per lap

Renter pays, not owner cost. RCN €/lap = seat ÷ RCN laps. NLS €/lap = stint ÷ NLS laps. Those lap counts are separate sliders. NLS/RCN of seat prices does not use laps. Ranked cheapest RCN €/lap. M240 is the reference.

Owner cost per km

Weekend running (entry, tyres, fuel, brakes, crew, insurance) ÷ km. Lap = 24,358 km (NLS / RCN layout). RCN km = 2 drivers × RCN laps × 24,358. NLS km = 4 stints × NLS laps × 24,358.
